ABSTRACT AND PRESENTATIONS
Guidelines for authors
- The abstract must not exceed 600 words. Three to five keywords should be included.
- All abstracts will undergo blind review by the scientific committee. Each presenting author may submit only one abstract, with a maximum of 10 authors.
- Abstracts should be written in clear and concise English to allow reviewers to focus on the scientific merit of the submission. We encourage non-English-speaking authors to have their abstracts checked for grammar and spelling (using tools like DeepL or other AI resources).
- The abstract must be written as a single paragraph and must include at least the following sections: goals, methods, results, and conclusion. If results are unavailable, you may submit your project with the following sections: Introduction, Goals, Methods, and Expected Results. Case reports should include Introduction, Case Description, Methods, Results, and Conclusion. Abstracts must not contain figures, tables, or references. The section names should not be included in the text.
Poster presentation
- The assessment results will be made available on the Even3 platform.
- All presentations will be in poster format and must be presented in person on December 11, in the Animal Parasitology Department, Annex I of the Veterinary Institute (UFRRJ).
- The presentation can be conducted in either English, Spanish, or Portuguese, based on the student’s and the reviewer’s preferences.
