The IX INTERNATIONAL SYMPOSIUM IN VETERINARY SCIENCES will be held online on Dec 09, 10 and 11, 2024
Since 2013, the Postgraduate Program in Veterinary Sciences (PPVS) has organized the International Symposium in Veterinary Sciences (ISVS), promoting the integration of faculty and students from the Federal Rural University of Rio de Janeiro and institutions across Brazil and abroad. The ninth edition, scheduled for December 9-11, 2024, aims to disseminate studies of scientific and technological relevance in veterinary sciences, advancing scientific development in Rio de Janeiro and strengthening internationalization. With the theme “Innovation and Challenges in Preventive Veterinary Medicine,” the symposium will address innovative approaches to emerging health threats, emphasizing the role of preventive veterinary medicine in disease control, animal welfare, and food safety. The event will feature lectures, abstract presentations, and foster research partnerships, serving as a key platform for scientific exchange and societal impact.
REGISTRATION HAS NO FEE
Registration is open to undergraduate and postgraduate students, and professionals in Veterinary Medicine and related fields. The registration period starts on October 9th, 2024, and ends on December 8th, 2024.
Registration includes access to two days of online lectures (December 9th and 10th, 2024) and the submission of one abstract per postgraduate student in Veterinary Sciences and related fields.

To submit your abstract, the first author must be registered for the IX ISVS in advance.
The first author is responsible for presenting the poster in person on 11 December 2024 at the Animal Parasitology Department, UFRRJ.
